I
I have three psychotherapy offices located in San Francisco, California. I work with persons experiencing emotional pain, parenting issues, work/relationship problems, difficult experiences and trauma. These difficult experiences include childhood abuse, military service-related trauma, anxiety and depression. My practice includes individual and group psychotherapy. I have worked extensively with trauma survivors and employ a range of techniques to bring about change and healing. The techniques I frequently use include Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, Schema work, Client-centered psychotherapy, journaling and dream work.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 17 years experience working with adults, children, and adolescents. I provide culturally competent care. I hold a Doctorate of Psychology from The California School of Professional Psychology. I also have a Master's in Clinical Psychology. I was trained in Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic, Cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I tailor my treatment to an individual's unique situation, needs, problems and goals. I work with my clients collaboratively to attain their short-term or long term goals and strive to provide the best possible psychotherapy for my clients. I believe regardless of diagnosis, ethnic background, or presenting problem a client should be provided with exceptional care, dignity and respect.
